Workforce Innovation Conference is annual initiative of the
Workforce Council which seeks to bring together industry, experts
and stakeholders to showcase and explore the latest ideas and
practices.

The second annual Health and Community Services Workforce
Innovation Conference & Awards took place 19 - 20 May 2011
at Brisbane's Sebel & Citigate Hotel. The event was
attended over 300 delegates and included keynote
presentations by former Australian Democrats leader Natasha
Stott Despoja, renowned social entrepreneur Nic Frances, emotional
intelligence author Amanda Gore, creative champion Nigel Collin,
and Skills Queensland CEO Rod Camm.

The inaugural Workforce Innovation Conference and Awards were held at the Hilton Hotel, Brisbane 20 - 21 May 2010. Over the two days, more than 250 participants attended presentations and workshops covering leadership, recruitment and retention, job design, collaborative workforce strategies and much more.
