Innovation Conference
The 2012 Health and Community Services Workforce Innovation Conference will take place at Brisbane's Hilton Hotel on Thursday 31 May and Friday 1 June 2012.
Now in its third year, the Health and Community Services Workforce Innovation Conference has established itself as the premier event for researchers, education and training providers, policy makers and members of the industries to explore new and creative workforce planning, development and innovation research and practices.
The conference seeks to showcase practices and models which will support the industry to develop a workforce capable of meeting the ever-increasing needs of our communities. It will include examples of innovative strategies for responding to current and future workforce issues and ensuring a skilled, productive, capable workforce continues to provide quality health and community services to an expanding and ageing population.
The event will include presentations, panels and workshops which explore ideas and questions relating to the following themes:
- Innovative leadership and management
- Inclusion and diversity
- Regional and local collaboration
- Integrated service delivery systems
- Workforce planning
