    We would like to invite you to come Walk on Country  with Henry Fourmile, a Gimuy Walabura Yidinji Traditional Owner in the Cairns Region as part of the Yarn Up –Tok Blo Yumi Project (talk together/talk belong to you and me) in Cairns. Participants on this Connecting to Country bus trip will learn and explore places of cultural and historic significance for the Yidinji peoples,
    including Skeleton Creek and Crystal Cascades. Yidinji peoples represent one of the largest Indigenous tribes of the Cairns area.

     

  • What's With This Kid? Positive Ways to Guide Behaviour (0-12 years)

    This learning activity will focus on general behavioural issues and dealing with these, for educators who work with children aged 0-12 years, and issues they face in dealing with children with higher level behaviours. We will look at strategies that fit in with the current all National Quality frameworks, as well as develop strategies that can help in the day to day work with young people. The key focus is that in Early Years learning, and Out of School Hours Care, children are faced with a unique opportunity to engage in positive activities and interactions.
