If you’re new to our industry, welcome! You are working in one of the around 2,300 services that make up an industry that employs over 341,000 people, contributes $3.5 billion to the Queensland economy, and is predicted to grow at a rate double that of Queensland and Australia overall.

Whether you are working with babies in an early childhood setting, with our eldest citizens in aged care or at a youth work program in between, you are an important part of an industry that contributes to keeping people educated, well, happy, safe and participating in the community.

The ‘Welcome to the People Business’ Induction Package sets you up to succeed by supporting you to join the dots across a large and complex industry. It shows where you and your organisation fit in the system and equips you with the knowledge and connections to get you started in a career with a myriad of pathways.

WTP Business Model1

Each module will be delivered three times per year. This ensures that no matter when you recruit, your staff will always be able to participate.

A six-monthly usage report will be provided for all member organisations and all participants will be provided with a certificate of completion. Where content aligns with accredited units of competency this will be indicated on certificates.
