If you’d like to get involved in our governance, consider becoming a Constitutional Member.
Constitutional Members are eligible to nominate for our Industries Reference Group–a 62 person advisory group with designated positions for different sectors, to ensure broad representation across the Health and Community Services Industry in Queensland. The IRG then elects a 12 member Board.
Our aim is to ensure representation across all major sectors and types of organisations including:
- Employer groups
- Peak bodies
- Indigenous organisations and organisations working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- Organisations working in remote and regional areas
- General organisational members
The Board hosts a number of consultative forums across the state each year to ensure that our members and stakeholders are playing a key role in guiding the strategic direction of the Health and Community Services Workforce Council. During these forums the Board seeks feedback from individuals, organisations and government bodies.
