Conference registrations closing soon!

Registrations for the 2012 Health and Community Services Workforce Innovation Conference close 5pm Friday 18 May.

 

The 2012 Health and Community Services Workforce Innovation Conference will take place at Brisbane's Hilton Hotel on Thursday 31 May and Friday 1 June 2012. Now in its third year, the conference has established itself as the premier event for researchers, education and training providers, policy makers and members of the industries to explore new and creative workforce planning, development and innovation research and practices.

keynote speakers

TIM COSTELLO is Chief Executive of World Vision Australia and one of the country’s most sought after voices on social justice issues, leadership and ethics, having spearheaded public debates on homelessness, Reconciliation, substance abuse and gambling. DR JACKIE HUGGINS is an author, historian and Aboriginal rights activist of the Bidjara (Central Queensland) and Birri-Gubba Juru North Queensland peoples. She is the Deputy Director of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies Unit and an Adjunct Professor in the School of Social Work and Human Services at the University of Queensland. PETER BAINES is a veteran NSW policeman and road-tested leader who draws upon the insights he gleaned from a 22-year career as a police officer and forensic investigator, which included guiding teams in response to both natural disasters and acts of terrorism. OLIVER FREEMAN is a futurist, author, Adjunct Professor at Sydney's University of Technology and director of the Neville Freeman Agency which assists Australian businesses with strategic management.
