The inaugural Health and Community Services Workforce Innovation Conference commenced this morning at the Hilton Hotel, Brisbane.
Nearly 300 Health and Community Services delegates from across Queensland were in attendance for a tone-setting keynote address from internationally renowned author Dr Stephen Lundin, titled Inspiration through Innovation.
Dr Lundin strolled through the audience as he explored the concept of innovation, emphasising its reliance on individuals, not just organisations.
Over the coming two days Workforce Innovation Conference will provide a platform to showcase innovative workforce development concepts and practices within the Health and Community Services industries. Throughout the conference presentations and workshops will cover leadership, recruitment and retention, job design, collaborative workforce strategies and much more.
