The final industry report from the Workforce Council's completed Health Skills Formation Strategy (HSFS) initiative is now available.
The Health Skills Formation Strategy Industry Report 2010 is the product of the collective contribution of the Health Industry Leaders Group. It outlines the innovative approach of the Health Skills Formation Strategy collaborative, details the achievements of the project, provides some key messages for the future and outlines the ongoing work being progressed through the Health Workforce Leaders collaborative.
The Health Skills Formation Strategy was a three year initiative of the Health and Community Services Workforce Council with the purpose to "work together to improve healthcare through a sustainable and innovative workforce". This strategy presented a unique opportunity in Queensland for government, industry and education and training to work together as part of a long term approach to ensure a range of workforce solutions to support our health system.
A Health Skills Formation Strategy promotional DVD is also currently in development and will be available in early 2011.
