Keynote Speaker announced: Rod Camm

The Workforce Council is pleased to announce that Chief Executive Officer of Skills Queensland, Rod Camm has been confirmed as the latest keynote speaker for the 2011 Health and Community Services Workforce Innovation Conference.

 

At Skills Queensland, Rod is responsible for overseeing the alignment of Queensland's skills system with the needs of industry, to alleviate skill shortages and better position Queensland and Queenslanders to address future skill needs. His previous roles have also included Associate Director-General, Skills, Tertiary & Non-State Education Division within the Department of Education & Training as well as Chief Executive Officer, of Construction Skills Queensland

 

Rod joins fellow keynotes, former Australian Democrats leader Natasha Stott Despoja, renowned social entrepreneur and award winning writer Nic Frances, emotional intelligence author, trainer Amanda Gore and creative champion Nigel Collin.

 

The second annual Health and Community Services Workforce Innovation Conference & Awards will take place 19 - 20 May 2011 at Brisbane's Sebel Citigate Hotel. The conference will examine the current and future workforce context for our industries, with presentations and workshops covering: Workforce planning and sustainability; Leadership and management; Career and industry pathways and promotion; and Innovative workforce models in response to needs and reforms.
