Skills and Training Taskforce Submission
The Workforce Council has delivered a submission to the Queensland Government for the Queensland Skills and Training Taskforce outlining the importance of the health and community services industry within Queensland.
The Queensland Government has introduced the Your Life Your Choice trial which will give people with a disability a chance to directly purchase their own specialist disability services.
Panel of Providers - applications now open
The Workforce Council is calling on interested parties to apply to be included on the Health and Community Services Workforce Council's Panel of Providers.
This year Disability Action Week celebrations will run from 9-15 September bringing together communities across Queensland to promote the benefits of including all people of all abilities.
Child Protection Week & Award Winners
Queensland Child Protection Week, an annual event which promotes the value of children and focuses attention on issues of abuse and neglect, will take place 2 - 8 September 2012.
Australia’s second annual National Skills Week takes place 27 August – 2 September.
