PSCQ operates on a regional decision-making model to best suit the needs of our 14 different regions in Queensland. Each of the regions is represented by a Professional Support Network (PSN) comprising up to 12 representatives from various child care service types, management types and geographic locations.
The PSNs are the decision-making bodies for PSCQ. They have responsibility to prioritise learning needs and ensure activities are regionally appropriate, based on needs identified by target group members. Each PSN is facilitated by a Workforce Consultant to action the decisions and plans developed by the network.
Services can feed their professional support priorities into the local PSN by emailing the contact for that region. These needs will be considered by the network in determining what support will be offered.
We encourage nominations from people within the sector who are already well-networked and connected with a variety of child care services. The following information is for current PSN members and those interested in joining the PSN.
