Phase One Report

This report written by the Health and Community Services Workforce Council contains information and recommendations from a 6 month research and investigation phase into the key health workforce issues in Queensland. It provides background on the Health Industry in Queensland, a summary of current workforce issues and recommendations in relation to the progression of a HSFS for Queensland. Funds to facilitate the development of this paper were provided by the Department of Education and Training (DET). View the Phase One Report.

 

A Career in Health - Worth the Journey!

The HSFS has been supporting the development of a range of promotional material aimed at high school students and parents and industry employers. These include:

  • Fact Sheet for students about traineeships in health qualifications
  • Fact Sheet for industry employers about traineeships in health qualifications including incentives and other support available for employing a trainee
