Community Mental Health Workforce Summit

The Summit will be chaired by Professor John Mendoza (former Chair of the Federal Governments Mental Health Advisory Council and author of the ConNetica report) and bring together stakeholders involved in the Community Mental Health Workforce to examine the current workforce environment and discuss priority actions the sector can collaboratively achieve to support the growth of a highly competent, respected and sustainable Community Mental Health workforce. The Summit will be guided by a set of principles that will provide the context and parameters for discussion.

Summit attendees are asked to read and comment on the Discussion Paper prior to attending the Workforce Summit. The  Discussion Paper provides an overview of the four workforce themes and outlines a set of proposed actions which will be considered at the Summit. Summit attendees are also asked to comment on the Summit principles, in order to acquire shared commitment to the principles at the Summit.
