Industry Leaders Workgroups championing initiatives to support workforce development in the NGO Mental Health Sector in Queensland will host the Minister for Disability Services, Mental Health and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships the Honourable Curtis Pitt to a breakfast meeting on Tuesday 20 September.
The meeting will discuss workforce initiatives under development by the Workgroups, as well as engage in an interactive forum to explore opportunities for ongoing support to ensure sustainable services for Queensland Communities.
The Industry Workgroups were established to provide direction and guidance to the Community Mental Health Skills Formation Strategy a joint project of the Health and Community Services Workforce Council (Workforce Council) and Queensland Alliance for Mental Health (Queensland Alliance), funded by Skills Queensland.
