We are a not-for-profit, incorporated association which is one of a network of training advisory bodies in the state of Queensland.
The Workforce Council is the principal source of advice to government and the community services and health industries regarding training needs and reforms.
We seek to enhance the quality of life for all Queenslanders through the devlopment and monitoring of training systems that will enhance the skills and capacity of the industries' workforce.
Promotion of strategic innovation and leadership remains a key goal of the Workforce Council and it is our fervent aim to accelerate Queenslanders in this direction.
Funded projects comprise the majority of our work here at the Workforce Council.
