Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples bring strengths, capabilities and perspectives that are critical to the success and wellbeing of all people, communities and organisations.
Our suite of cultural change workshops are designed and delivered in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to build organisational culture, capability, practice and policy.
To create meaningful and sustainable change, we strive to make an impact at multiple levels. Real change starts with individuals, is shaped further by organisations committed to social justice and enacted across communities through the collaboration of stakeholders with shared purpose.
CULTURAL AWARENESS & RELATIONSHIPS
Foundational workshops are about developing cultural capability.
The workshops focus on the three areas of cultural capacity: Knowing and understanding history, culture, customs and beliefs; Doing culturally appropriate actions and behaviour; and Being aware, authentic and open to examining own values and beliefs.
Yarn Up Tok Blo Yumi is a two-day cultural immersion program that supports participants to reflect deeply on their practice and challenge their world views and assumptions. It focusses on history, cultural safety, communication, relationships and partnerships.
Activate Inclusion enables leaders to gain an understanding of their own and other cultural realities and align their cultural knowledge, actions and behaviour with the espoused organisational values of their organisation.
COLLABORATION & PLANNING
Walking Together is about planning the workforce in regard to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander inclusion.
