As a peak body working closely with our industry and industry partners, the Health and Community Services Workforce Council is in a prime position to lead and support the sustainability of our industry through contemporary and responsive workforce practices. In order to achieve this Workforce Council has identified four key areas for focus between 2013 and 2016:

Provide evidence based workforce intelligence to influence and advance industry outcomes
Describe and promote the health and community services industry and workforce
Develop industry expertise and capacity to meet its diverse workforce needs
Create an organisation that demonstrates leadership and innovative practice
